Panthers Continue Strong Showing at Dartmouth Invite

Although there were a few we would like back, we were happy with our continued grow and improvement as we won key singles matches in our second day of action at the Dartmouth Invite. After sweeping the doubles yesterday against Williams seniors Derrick Angle and David Farah won singles matches to get us to the magic number with very solid efforts. Alec Parower was up a set and 4-0 against Felix Sun of Williams before falling in a breaker for the third but showed he is ready to battle the best in Div lll. After winning two of three doubles against Dartmouth Derek Farah continued his great play beating a freshmen from Columbia 6-1,6-0 to get us on the board first. Soph Zach Bruchmiller got us to a match from the finish line winning at 11-9 breaker for the third while fighting off cramps. Fellow Soph Brantner Jones iced the match by winning 7-6, 6-4 in one of his best matches to date. Tomorrow we will wrap up the event with some additional singles and doubles matches hoping to put a positive stamp on a great weekend. Great to see some of the Midd family show up for the matches and thanks to all of you for your help and support. Best wishes, Coach Hansen
