Midd Tennis Roars Into 2023

Happy 2023 to our Middlebury Tennis Family! We want to share with you our excitement for the upcoming tennis season. In this blog post we spotlight our freshmen class, give a welcome back to our returners who studied abroad, and share our Spring 2023 dual match schedule and alumni match weekend!

Returners from Study Abroad and Community Service Note

The Fall was incredibly fun and productive, with the Panthers posting some impressive results. Bringing a new level of energy and force back to campus, Aidan Harris, Max Kim, Joe Mairs, and Noah Laber have all returned from their study abroad experience at King’s College in London.

These four took advantage of their study abroad in London including
visiting many different European countries/cities.

The team is now hard at work this J-Term and have accelerated their preparation for our spring season while only having to focus on one class this month! The coaching staff could not be more pleased with the organization and camaraderie of this year’s squad, and we know the efforts they are putting in now will be critical to our success moving forward. Another shout out the coaching staff wants highlight is that our players really stepped up during our community service project in December where we partnered with the HOPE foundation to provide holiday gifts to families in need in Addison County. Our players had a blast and gathered a huge number of toys and needed items this holiday season!
